SU's Sustainable Communities Lecture Series Continues October 29
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Smart Growth Club continues its Sustainable Communities Lecture Series with the presentation “The Truth About Residential Solar — A National and Local Perspective” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in Henson Science Hall Room 243.
Speakers are Anya Schoolman, founder and executive director of the Community Power Network, and Corey Ramsden, program director of Maryland Solar United Neighborhoods (MD SUN).
The Community Power Network is a grassroots group of local, state and national organizations working to build and promote locally based renewable energy projects and policies.
MD SUN is a regional program of the Community Power Network, expanding access to solar energy through benefit education, organizational assistance and policy support.
