Salisbury Youth Orchestra Performs Annual Spring Concert May 18

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Youth Orchestra (SYO) presents its annual spring concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18, in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.

The SYO Middle School Orchestra, directed by Lisa Adams, Salisbury Symphony Orchestra principal flutist, opens the concert, followed by the SYO High School Orchestra, directed by Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen. The SYO Flute and Percussion ensembles also perform.

Selections include “The Wizards of Winter,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “Theme from James Bond,” as well as a work composed by SYO graduating senior Lila Quillin.
