Salisbury Youth Orchestra Performs at SU Thursday, May 17

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Youth Orchestra presents its annual spring concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17, in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.
Conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, the orchestra includes student musicians ranging from elementary school to high school seniors throughout the Eastern Shore. Contemporary works include selections from the Harry Potter films, Santana’s “Smooth” and Tallarico’s video game-based “Bounty Hunter,” mixed with Baroque pieces by Susato, Couperin and Lawes, and Korsakov’s “Dance of the Tumblers.”
