Shetty Speaks on Visit to Salisbury's Sister City September 22

SALISBURY, MD---The Sister Cities Association of Salisbury/Wicomico County (SCA of SWC) invites the community to hear Dr. Shekar Shetty of Salisbury University’s Economics and Finance Department speak on "My Visit to Our Sister City, Tartu, Estonia."

His talk is 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, 144 E. Main St.

Last spring, Shetty taught at Tallinn University of Technology, in Tallinn, Estonia, as a Fulbright Scholar, allowing him to visit the city of Tartu.

The SCA of SWC fosters relations with Tartu, Estonia; Salisbury, England; and Dalian, China. The mission of the SCA of SWC is to promote international exchange creating lasting friendships through cultural understanding, economic development, and education.
