Smart Start Your Business at SU Monday, February 7

SALISBURY, MD--If you are wondering if or how you should start a business, "Smart Start Your Business" can help guide you in your decision. This small-group, evening session is sponsored monthly by Salisbury University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in locations throughout the Eastern Shore. The instructor is a business counselor from the SBDC who discusses the basics of starting a business, such as creating a business plan, realistic money considerations and more. Resource information and a business plan guide are provided. Two sessions of "Smart Start Your Business" are held this month. The first is Monday, February 7, from 6-8:30 p.m. in the SBDC offices in Salisbury University's Power Professional Building, located at the corner of Power and Wayne Streets. The second, co-sponsored by Chesapeake College, is Tuesday, February 8, from 6-8:30 p.m. in Room EDC-27 of the Economic Development Center at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD. The fee at Salisbury University is $15, including materials, with registration made to the SBDC training office at 410-543-6516 (toll free 800-999-7232), or by emailing SBDCtraining@salisbury.edu.
