Start/Manage Own Business Workshop Nov. 20

SALISBURY, MD---The Small Business Development Center at Salisbury University sponsors the workshop “How to Start and Manage Your Own Business” on Tuesday, November 20, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Frederick Room of the Commons on the SU campus. 

Featuring seven speakers, the course will cover constructing a business plan, banking requirements, insurance needs, marketing, record-keeping, and legal and safety issues. 

Sponsored by the Maryland Small Business Development Center-Eastern Region, Salisbury University and SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), the workshop fee is $40 and includes lunch and all course materials.
