Success Oriented P.E. Workshop March 5

SALISBURY, MD--The Salisbury State University Physical Education Department and the Wicomico County Board of Education sponsor a professional day workshop featuring Betsy Gallum, Maryland State Department of Education physical education specialist, and Dr. Curt Hinson, physical education author, on Monday, March 5, in Maggs Physical Activities Center. 

The workshop, Success Oriented Physical Education, is 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and includes hands-on activities that stress fitness, motor skills, assessment, technology and brain-based learning techniques. 

Gallum speaks on the state’s Physical Education Study Group Report and other related news throughout Maryland. 

Dr. Hinson, National Association for Sport and Physical Education teacher of the year, is the author of Fitness for Children, Games Kids Should Play at Recess and Six Steps to a Trouble Free Playground.
