SALISBURY, MD---Maryland Summer Center for the Arts students salute the American flag, singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the Baltimore Orioles’ home game against the Texas Rangers 1:35 p.m. Sunday, July 16.
The game and performance are broadcast on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, seen locally on WJZ-TV. The performance also is broadcast on Major League Baseball’s Internet subscription site, MLB.TV (mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/subscriptions/mlbtv.jsp).
Students are under the director of choral instructor Tina Meekins. Dr. Ray Ziegler, retired music professor at SU, helped coach the choral class for Sunday’s performance.
