Valtchev-Tchekoratova Duo Performs at SU Thursday, February 16

SALISBURY, MD---Bulgarian pianist Lora Tchekoratova and violinist Georgy Valtchev have played Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

On Thursday, February 16, the Valtchev-Tchekoratova Duo performs in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

The New York-based duo is an advocate of eastern European music. Tchekoratova and Valtchev also have performed at New York’s Donnell Library, in Maine’s Arlan Baillie Steinway Performance Series, and at venues throughout Bulgaria and Macedonia. They also have recorded for Sofia National Radio.
