Web Development Subject of Waldron Presentation" 

SALISBURY, MD -- Jerry Waldron, chief information officer for Salisbury State University, recently discussed “Chasing Technology in the Campus Environment” at the Sunrise Rotary meeting at Nutters Crossing. 

The development of Web courses, Web based course chat rooms and e-business sites allow students to do many of their business transactions via the Internet. The new technology has created a dramatic learning curve for the entire campus community, Waldron said.  

The presentation focused on the need for ongoing professional development for students, faculty and staff. Methods to meet this challenge also were presented.
