Wind Chill Advisory Extended Until 4 p.m. Feb. 20

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service has extended its Wind Chill Advisory for Wicomico County until 4 p.m. Friday, February 20.
*Hazards: Dangerously cold wind chills
*Wind Chill Readings: Zero to 10 below zero
*Impacts: Frozen pipes could be a problem. Frostbite and hypothermia may occur if precautions are not taken.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must go outdoors, make sure a hat and gloves are worn.
