Education Faculty Members Attend READ-ALOUD Conference

Dr. John T. Wolinski, professor, Dr. Starlin Weaver, assistant professor, and Dr. Patricia O. Richards, associate professor, conducted two workshops on "Flights of Imagination: Kids and Kites." Along with making kites that they got to fly, participants learned how to use children’s natural love of kites to make reading, math, science and social studies connections. A wide variety of kite-related children’s books and poems was also shared.
