SU Piano and Strings Students Perform in Recital
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University piano and strings students perform in recital 2 p.m. Friday, December 7, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
Piano performances include Bach’s “Prelude” in F minor from Book II of the Well-Tempered Clavichord by Timothy Shephard and “Invention No. 1” in C major by Chareese Vandyke; Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca by Alexander Dipirro; the last movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata by Alex Vennos; Bartok’s Suite, Opus 14 by Sungryung Kim; and works by Debussy performed by Anna Avick, Amelia Trotter and McCabe Dignam.
Strings performances include Telemann’s Fantasia No. 7 for solo violin by Lindsey Behrman, Forsyth’s Viola Concerto in G minor by Anthony Constantine, Dancla’s La Straniera by Allison Guy and Mozart’s Rondo in D by Katie Bobele.
The students are from the classes of Drs. Linda Cockey and Sachi Murasugi of SU’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department.
