Student Affairs Unveils New 'SU Cares' Webpage

SU Cares webpageSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Student Affairs Division is making it easier for the University to support students and promote their success toward degree completion at SU by centralizing information about essential University support services and resources on a new SU Cares webpage.

The new site includes details on SU Cares’ mission, vision, values and goals, as well as links to resources for assistance with academics, food insecurity, accessibility accommodations, getting involved, professional development, housing, childcare, health and wellness and specialized areas such as services for veterans, online students, and first-generation and low-income students.

The site also provides links to services for students experiencing emergency absences and information for requesting an SU Cares presentation.

“SU Cares is not a new program that students join. SU Cares is our ethos, our way of interacting with students and their families,” said Dr. Wallace Southerland III, associate vice president of student affairs. “The site can also be used by faculty, staff, family members, and anyone who cares about our students. We hope the new SU Cares page will provide members of the SU community with a more convenient way to find the resources and services they need to ensure that all students excel on campus and beyond.”
