'First Amendment and the Press' Lecture Recognizes Constitution Day
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) celebrates Constitution Day with a virtual event 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 17.
Dr. Colin Campbell, media, journalism and film lecturer at Howard University, discusses his dissertation while engaging the audience in a discussion on “First Amendment and the Press.”
Constitution Day is a federal observance recognizing the adoption of the Constitution, celebrated on September 17, the day in 1787 that delegates signed the Constitution in Philadelphia.
