SU Senior Arts Exhibition Opens April 19
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University art majors display their work during SU’s 63rd biannual Senior Art Exhibition April 19-May 7.
The exhibition is hosted at the University Gallery of Fulton Hall and SU Art Galleries (SUAG) Downtown. Tours are available by appointment.
A virtual awards ceremony is 5 p.m. Friday, April 30.
Works on display are part of the Senior Exhibition course. The goal of the class is to summarize the students’ art experiences at SU by having them lead the planning and execution of a professional art exhibit.
After graduating, many of the students represented in the exhibits plan to enter careers including interior design, illustration, animation, graphic design, advertising, photography, education and art therapy, among others.
Each student uses a portion of the galleries to display their work, which is based on their specific art track and encompasses an overarching theme of their choice.
To schedule a tour or for more information about the exhibition or award ceremony call 410-548-2547 or visit the SUAG website.
