'Freeload' on Exhibit at SU's University Gallery October 7

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University Art Galleries (SUAG) hosts “Freeload” at solo exhibition by installation artist Jarod Charzewski October 7-November 12, in the University Gallery in Fulton Hall.

An artist talk with Charzewski precedes the opening 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 6, in Fulton Hall Room 111.

The site-specific installation references survival through preservation, more specifically the propensity to consciously and unconsciously collect things. As an immigrant to the U.S., personal belongings have taken on new definitions and classifications for Charzewski as he continues to cross borders.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
