SSO Presents Spring Concert with Guest Clarinetist Kurokawa
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Symphony Orchestra at Salisbury University (SSO) closes its 2022-23 concert season with “Summer Passport” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The concert, directed by Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, features guest clarinetist John Kurokawa.
Kurokawa showcases what the Cincinnati Enquirer called “truly flawless technique and intonation” while performing Weber’s Clarinet Concerto no. 1. He performs as principal clarinetist for both the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets are $25, $20 for seniors, $10 for SU faculty and staff, and $5 for students. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office.
Patrons are asked to park in Camden Lot F (Blackwell Hall).
