SU Celebrates the Class of 2024 with Week of Senior Send-Off Events

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of its senior Sea Gulls before they graduate and take flight!
SU will honor the Class of 2024 with Senior Send-Off, a weeklong series of events prior to Spring Commencement. Activities will include an official Senior Class Photo, taken on the front lawn of Holloway Hall. This special inaugural tradition will be immediately before the University’s annual ConGRADulations Toast & Celebration at the Alumni House.
Senior Send-Off offers a wide array of exciting activities. Students can expect a week full of toasts, entertainment, refreshments and everything in between. All activities are free unless otherwise noted.
Senior BINGO: SU students are invited to Senior BINGO night 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Guerrieri Student Union (GSU) Wicomico Room. One extra Bingo card will be offered for seniors graduating in May or December 2024.
Senior Sip N’ Paint: Come have a drink and create art with T.C. Studios at the Senior Sip N’ Paint at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the GSU Wicomico Room. The $5 ticket includes the first drink and painting. Only 75 seats are available and registration is required.
Class of 2024 Photo: Don’t miss your chance to be part of the official SU Class of 2024 photo! This special commemorative photo will be taken at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, on the lawn in front of Holloway Hall. Seniors will receive a T-shirt for participating in this event.
ConGRADulations & Toast: Following the class photo, SU celebrates its graduating seniors with the ConGRADulations & Toast event 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the Alumni House. Seniors will have the opportunity to enjoy a cookout with burgers and brews, and receive a gift on behalf of the SU Alumni Association. Seniors also may invite a faculty or staff member who has impacted their time at SU to attend this event with them.
Senior Photo Sessions: Bring your friends and family for candid mini photo sessions with a professional photographer at some of SU’s favorite campus landmarks: the Pergola and Holloway Hall! Photos will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, on a first-come first-serve basis.
Senior Leader Dinner: Senior class leaders are invited to a special dinner 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is by invite only.
Undergraduate commencement ceremonies will take place at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Graduate student commencement will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22. For more details, visit the Commencement web page.
