SU Hosts Literacy Studies Doctoral Program Virtual Information Session March 11

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education hosts virtual information sessions on SU’s doctoral program in literacy studies 7 p.m. Monday, March 11; 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18; and 5 p.m. Monday, May 13.

Faculty discuss the process of application for the program and its benefits for those both inside an outside the world of academia, and answer questions about the curricula. 

The program offers a dynamic learning community that explores communicative practices in the 21st century. Because literacy is integral to all learning, students from diverse disciplines find relevance in the program.

The curriculum is built on a strong core of theory, research and practice to advance the field of literacy and promote culturally responsive, effective practices for learners of all backgrounds.
