'Campus Legend Tours' Tell Fictional Tales of SU

By SU Public Relations

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University has some dark stories to tell – or does it? Students in Dr. Viktoria Basham’s Campus Legends and Mysteries course in the Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clarke Honors College lead “Campus Legends” tours 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, April 23 and 25.

The students researched the history of SU, using what they found to create their own fictional legends about the University, set in actual campus spaces. Each tour features tales created and delivered by students. Seventeen unique stories will be shared over the two nights.

Tours are family friendly, but some legends touch on sensitive topics, such as racism, murder, suicide and death.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Participants are asked to gather by 6:20 p.m. at Manokin Hall.

For more information call 410-677-6556. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
