Appalachian Trail Subject of March 6 Lecture at SSU

SALISBURY, MD---Helene (Happy) Hall, a sophomore at Salisbury State University who spent 5 ½ months hiking the Appalachian Trail following her senior year of high school, discusses her experience on Monday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center on the SSU campus. Her slide/lecture presentation is free and open to the public.

Hall, an officer with the SSU Outdoor Club, will talk about her preparation for the hike and share advice on hiking in the wilderness. She is a native of Germantown, MD, and went to Oldfields School--an all girls' boarding school located just north of Baltimore, MD.
