Are you ready for an Audit? workshop

SALISBURY, MD-- "Are you ready for an audit?" A comprehensive workshop for creating compliance records and office organization for businesses will be held on Friday, April 5, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Room of the Commons building at Salisbury University.

Gale Collins of Collins Consulting discusses creating compliance records and office organization for businesses and how to maintain up to date record systems for easy information access. The workshop answers questions about employee files, FMLA, OSHA, COBRA and I-9 record keeping, and clarifies what and why records need to be kept and for how long. Participants will learn key federal record retention requirements and be given resources for further information gathering, which include information on staying compliant and sample formats for future use.

The workshop is sponsored by the Center for Professional Development and Salisbury University.

The fee for the workshop, which includes continental breakfast, is $40. Chamber members pay $35.
