'Basic Accounting' Course for Small Businesses September 18 at Wor-Wic

SALISBURY, MD---The Small Business Development Center, located at Salisbury University, and Wor-Wic Community College hold the five session course, “Basic Accounting for the Small Business.” It begins Monday, September 18, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Wor-Wic in room AAB207.

Learn to track financial information using journal entries, T-accounts and the general ledger. Prepare balance sheets and income statements. Develop a better understanding of basic accounting concepts, terminology and transactions.

The cost is $66 for Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset county residents.  Additional fees for out-of-tri-county-area and out-of-state residents apply. Registration must be made through Wor Wic’s Office of Community and Continuing Education by calling 410-334-2815 or through its Worcester County office by calling 410-641-4134.
