Buffalo Soldiers Workshop June 27-29

SALISBURY, MD -- The Thomas E. Polk, Sr. Chapter of the 9th and 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association of the Buffalo Soldiers presents the first of four workshops for 2001-2002.

The first workshop is Wednesday, June 27-Friday, June 29 at Salisbury State University’s Caruthers Hall Room 122. Horseback riding lessons are also scheduled for Saturday, July 2, at The Black Angus Farms in Salisbury.

Workshops include the history of the Buffalo Soldiers, basic first aid, military field drill maneuvers and horseback riding lessons. Youth from 11-15 years old from Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester counties are eligible.
