Community Foundation Salutes SU in Funding Campaign

SALISBURY, MD---The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore has honored the Salisbury University for its successful completion of the Perdue-Kresge Challenge fundraising campaign.

Through the challenge, the SU Foundation raised $800,000. The Community Foundation, Kresge Foundation and Frank and Mitzi Perdue matched the amount to provide a total endowment of $1.6 million to the University.

To mark the success, Community Foundation representatives presented past SU Foundation chair Henry Hanna, who also chaired the Perdue-Kresge campaign at the University, with a certificate of appreciation and a lamp in the shape of a pillar—the Community Foundation’s symbol.
