EITC Program Earns E-Filing Award From Comptroller's Office
SALISBURY, MD---The Maryland Comptroller’s Office recently presented Salisbury University’s Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center (LSCCRC) and Lower Shore Resources for Working Families with an award for the highest percentage increase in electronic tax filing in Wicomico County.
The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center is working in conjunction with the Maryland EITC Campaign and is a member of the Maryland Child Care Resource Network. The outreach effort is funded by Pepco Holdings Inc. and Delmarva Power.
The EITC is a refundable federal and state tax credit for full-time, part-time or temporary workers, worth up to $5,280, depending on income and family size.
