Education Spring Roadshow Saturday, March 3

SALISBURY, MD---In conjunction with the Maryland Association of Science Teachers (MAST), Salisbury State University’s Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies and the Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology will host the Spring Roadshow that includes 16 educational sessions for elementary, middle and high school science teachers.

Sessions will be held Saturday, March 3, in Caruthers Hall on the SSU campus from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration prior to Tuesday, February 20, is $5 for MAST members and $15 for non-members. On-site registration is $10 for MAST members and $20 for non-members. Lunch and a continental breakfast are included with the registration fee.

Participants will learn to use Vernier’s Logger Pro Technology; develop and implement a science research course; set up class Web sites; item writing strategies to reflect HSA exams; read and teach the hard to reach student; and “ADHD: Is there an Alternative to Medication.”
