Energy Therapy Workshop March 14

SALISBURY, MD---A leading force in the emerging field of energy therapy presents a workshop at Salisbury University Friday, March 14. Tapas Fleming, owner of TAT International, uses the Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT) to treat trauma, allergies and relationship difficulties.

Fleming is a licensed acupuncturist in private practice in California. She travels the world to present and train the TAT technique, which she developed in 1993. The workshop is provided for continuing education of psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, family counselors, nurses, drug and alcohol counselors and rehabilitation specialists.

Workshop participants learn techniques to reduce stress and to heal the trauma that creates difficulties for clients. Fleming introduces the use of traditional Chinese medicine and discusses opportunities for personal healing and rejuvenation.

The workshop is 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Guerrieri University Center’s Worcester Room. A continental breakfast and mid-day refreshments will be available; lunch is on your own. The fee is $90 and continuing education certification will be awarded.

Program sponsors are SU’s Student Counseling Services and the Center for Professional Development, which is an approved provider of continuing education credits for psychologists, nurses, counselors and social workers.
