'Environmental Regulations and the Local Farm Movement' Panel Discussion Wednesday, November 19
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury farmer Ted Wycall and his Greenbranch Farm have been leaders in the sustainable local food movement.
However, he has found that some environmental regulations intended to help the Chesapeake Bay have unexpectedly impacted his attempts to make a living growing food.
Wycall joins environmental experts at Salisbury University to share his story during the panel discussion “Environmental Regulations and the Local Farm Movement” 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, in Henson Science Hall Room 243.
Panelists consider the relationship between regulations and farms, using Wycall’s experiences as a case study.
Sponsored by the Environmental Studies Department, admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6030 or visit the SU website at www.salisbury.edu.
