Through “Nocturne,” Scott reflects on her childhood relationship with animals through cut paper, moving images, sound and projections. She uses a technique similar to children’s “magic lanterns” to evoke a contrasting space with the eeriness of a forest and the comfort of a nursery.
Scott has exhibited throughout the United States, including the Tuscon (AZ) Museum of Art and West Virginia University’s School of Art and Design.
