SALISBURY, MD---Interested in a career change that affects people’s lives? Then consider one of the most sought after professions today – nursing. The Graduate Nursing Program at Salisbury University hosts an open house on Wednesday, November 7, from 5–8 p.m. in Power Professional Building Room 215. The open house will provide information on the accelerated nursing bachelor’s and master’s programs. The accelerated program is specifically designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field. These individuals may obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in three full-time semesters. Once they have completed this bachelor’s, they can continue for another three semesters full–time, and obtain their Master of Science degree in Nursing. The traditional master’s program includes three specialized tracks: family nurse practioner (FNP), home health care clinical specialist and nursing service administration.
