Grecay publishes research

SALISBURY, MD ---Dr. Paul Grecay, professor of biology in Salisbury University's Henson School of Science and Technology, has published "A device for simultaneously controlling multiple treatment levels of dissolved oxygen in laboratory experiments" in the Journal of Experimental Marine Biology and Ecology.

The paper, co-authored with alumnus Kevin Stierhoff, describes a method to precisely control dissolved oxygen levels in laboratory experiments. Such control gives researchers the ability to address previously unanswered ecological questions such as the effects of prolonged exposure to hypoxia on the growth, behavior and physiology of juvenile fishes.

The paper appears in volume 280 of the journal.
