Graduate School Fair slated for October 25

SALISBURY, MD ---Worried about your job being here in five years? Wondering about a career change? Ready for that next step up? Then attend Salisbury University's second annual Graduate School Fair on Friday, October 25, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center. The event is open to the public in addition to SU students.

"This is an excellent opportunity to talk to a variety of graduate schools," said R. Charles Endicott, associate director of SU's Career Services. The fair has attracted representatives from some 34 graduate programs and professional schools between Massachusetts and Florida. Many are in the mid-Atlantic area.

A variety of workshops are also being offered the same week to which the public is also invited. No advance sign-up is required. Workshops include: "Is graduate school for you?;" "Opening doors for acceptance to graduate school;" and "Taking the GRE."

Currently, hot careers include government service, teacher education, accounting, health professions and some areas of social service, Endicott said.
