Groutt Appointed Interim Auxiliary Services Director

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Kathleen Groutt, former director of Housing and Residence Life, has been named interim director of Auxiliary Services at Salisbury University. Her new duties include the direct supervision of University Dining Services and oversight of both the University Bookstore and Conference Planning. “I am delighted to step in and fill the position on an interim basis,” said Groutt. “I have worked in varying capacities with Dining Services, the Bookstore, and Conference Planning.  It has always been a positive experience so this is an opportunity to continue those relationships in a different way.” She will co-chair the search committee to hire the permanent director of Auxiliary Services and will oversee the ten-year budget planning process for Auxiliaries.      Groutt has worked for SU since 1978, first in Student Counseling Services, then in Housing and Residence Life.
