Hayes book show at library November 2

SALISBURY, MD ---Blackwell Library at Salisbury University presents a talk by accomplished author and professor Dr. Gianni (formerly Nan) DeVincent Hayes on Saturday, November 2, at 11 a.m.

Hayes, of Salisbury, is the author of 14 books and over 100 articles and essays. Her diverse body of work includes romance novels, local history, how-to books and sci-fi thrillers such as Thy Brother's Keeper in which modern-day science grapples with cloning. A production company is developing the book into a movie.

In addition to her work as a writer, Hayes has also taught journalism classes at Salisbury University and other institutions. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park and founded Writers' Bloc, a group of published and aspiring writers.

As part of SU's Homecoming-Family Weekend festivities, Hayes will share her thoughts on the challenges of writing and sign her latest titles (for sale at the event). Light refreshments are served.
