Henry Taylor - Writers-on-the-Shore Series
SALISBURY, MD -- Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Henry Taylor reads from his work on Monday, April 15, at 8 p.m. in the Montgomery Room in the Commons building at Salisbury University.
Part of the Writers on the Shore Series, admission is free and the public is invited.
Taylor received his Pulitzer in 1986 for his third collection of poetry, The Flying Change. His other books include The Horse Show at Midnight and An Afternoon of Pocket Billiards (poems), and Compulsory Figures: Essays on Recent American Poets.
He is a professor of literature and co-director of the M.F.A. Program in creative writing at American University in Washington, D.C.
