Lecture - Women and the Vote

SALISBURY, MD--- Salisbury University history professor James McCallops presents the lecture "Women and the Vote: An Anniversary of Struggle" on Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Nabb Research Center located in Power Professional building.

McCallops will discuss the landmark test to voting rights in 1872 that redefined and galvanized the women's movement toward suffrage. The lecture will focus on the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but will include a general discussion of women's voting patterns.

The event is sponsored by SU's Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture in Salisbury.
