MBA Students Participate in Capstone College Bowl
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury State University Perdue School of Business had two teams of Master of Business Administration students compete in the Capstone College Bowl sponsored by Management Simulations Inc. in Chicago. The competition is America's first on-line national business simulation competition between university business schools.
Capstone, an internet-based simulation of the microelectronics industry, pitted 48 university teams from around the country in industry groups of six teams for eight hours, during which time SSU competed against teams from Auburn University, DePaul University, Georgia Tech, Idaho State, Rutgers University, Northeastern and Virginia Tech.
The two SSU teams, Erie Company and Ferris Company, were coached by SSU Perdue School faculty member Dr. Richard Hoffman.
Erie Company team members were: Hubert Haran, So Hyun, Cinthia Pena, Jeff Smith and Christian Riveros; Ferris Company members were Douglass Cook, Nick DeSimone, Lauren Mangini and Jeff Reddish.
