Master's in Applied Health Physiology Now Offered
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury State University announces the formation of a Master of Science in applied health physiology, a professional degree program that is designed to increase the knowledge, skills and opportunities for practice that are essential for the development of health care professionals in a variety of clinical settings including cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation, geriatric and youth centers, state and local departments, and corporate wellness programs.
The curriculum, which emphasizes both theory and practice in the preparation of administrators, technicians and supervisors, provides students with the opportunity to read, study and discuss a wide range of theories and ideas related to health and physiology as well as the opportunity to practice the technical, administrative and supervisory skills of a health care provider.
