Preventing Sexual Harassment in Workplace Workshop - June 14

SALISBURY, MD --  Jeanne C. Ewell of Ewell Enterprises presents a half-day workshop on "Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" on Friday, June 14, at Salisbury University. Sponsored by SU's Center for Professional Development, the workshop is in the Montgomery Room in the Commons building on campus from 8:30 - 11 a.m.

Businesses throughout the country are threatened by sexual harassment lawsuits, which may cost companies thousands to millions of dollars. This workshop will provide business owners with an understanding of their responsibility, laws governing harassment, those affected, lawsuit responses, investigation techniques and best practices for a productive work environment.

Participants will receive a "Harassment Prevention Tool Kit" which includes a sample company harassment policy, resolution procedure format and sample investigation form. Current legal issues will also be reviewed.

The $50 program fee includes continental breakfast.
