Purchasing Management Satellite Seminar October 25  

SALISBURY, MD---Purchasing agents interested in finding out how to ensure successful outcomes to negotiations, advanced strategies and issues for success, including how to target a better relationship with suppliers, and how to avoid negotiating errors are invited to attend the National Association of Purchasing Management satellite seminar on Thursday, October 25, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Frederick Room of the Commons building on the campus of Salisbury University. 

Seminar panelists forming of and building a reserve margin in BATNA (best alternative to a negotiated agreement), distinguishing between managing and negotiating content and process, principled versus positional negotiation strategies, negotiating with internal customers and negotiating in special situations.

Sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, Eastern Region and NAPM Delmarva, the registration fee is $35 and includes materials and lunch.
