Respiratory Therapy Students Receive Certification
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University senior students in the Respiratory Therapy Program were recently certified as neonatal resuscitation providers at Peninsula Regional Medical Center which serves as a testing site for the nationally recognized NRP exam. The exam is endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.
The SU students were prepared for the NRP exam as part of their training to become respiratory care practitioners in the perinatal-pediatric respiratory care course taught by Dr. Robert L. Joyner, assistant professor of health science in the Respiratory Care Program.
