SBDC Offers Start and Manage Course Sept. 13 at Wye Mills

SALISBURY, MD -- "How to Start and Manage Your Own Business," a comprehensive workshop for the new business or potential business owners is on Friday, September 13, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Wye Mills campus of Chesapeake College.

A panel of six professionals discusses constructing a business plan, banking requirements, insurance needs, marketing, record-keeping, and legal and safety issues.

The workshop is sponsored by the Maryland Small Business Development Center Network-Eastern Region, Chesapeake College, Salisbury University and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).

The fee for the workshop is $45, $30 tuition and $15 course fee, and includes lunch and all course materials.
