Starting and Managing a Small Business Sept. 25-Nov. 13

SALISBURY, MD---Discover techniques for successfully managing a small business at the eight-week course, "Starting and Managing a Small Business." The course is on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from September 25-November 13 at Salisbury University's Power Professional building, Room PP153.

Those attending learn small business essentials such as start-up and operating procedures, ownership forms of incorporation, sources and methods of financing, record-keeping, communications, debt collection, personnel merchandising and business continuity. The final session is a resource partners event with members of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, SBDC and Maryland Capital Enterprise attending to answer questions. Tuition is $81.

The course is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center-Eastern Region, Wor-Wic Community College and Maryland Capital Enterprise.
