Tickets Now Available for A Midsummer's Night Dream

SALISBURY, MD---The box office is now open for the Salisbury State University Bobbi Biron Theatre Program's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of Shakespeare's most youthful and popular comedies.

Performances are Friday-Saturday, March 3-4, and Wednesday-Saturday, March 8-11, at 8 p.m., with matinees Sundays, March 5 and 12, at 2 p.m., in Fulton Hall Theatre. Tickets are $8 general admission, $6 for students and senior citizens. For reservations call the SSU Theatre Box Office at 410-543-6228.

Midsummer is directed by guest artist Charles Duff of the Shakespeare International Education Centre at the Globe Theatre in London, England.

Duff has had a distinguished career as a director, teacher and scholar. His 1995 book, The Lost Summer, The Heyday of the West End Theatre, was praised by Sheridan Morley in The Sunday Times of London as "the best theatrical history" Morley had read in recent years.

Duff has worked extensively with American educators and students at the Globe and was also vice principal and director of productions for seven years at the London Theatre School. He has directed at the Shaw and Edinburgh festivals and the European Chamber and Pavilion operas.
